Thank you so much for your posts!   I believe the New Testament is
scripture and divinely inspired and that God was/is sovereign behind
the canonization.  Certainly the historical church has done wrongful
things but God can bring forth greatness out of what seems to be
nothingness.  He has been doing that from the beginning.  He created
a universe out of nothingness.  He breathed life into clay to bring
us to be.  He brought out the population of the world out of Noah and
his family.  He brought forth a son to Abram and Sarai.  He used a
shepherd boy with a sling to kill a giant warrior who blasphemed
against the God of Israel.  And ultimately, He came to earth incarnate
as Jesus/Yeshua -- a baby in a manger!  God did the same with the
canonization.  He can use you and me.  I love my Bible and I believe
every word from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 is the divinely inspired
Word of God.  And I love the church despite the wrong we do to one
another and to others.
